Rules and Code of Conduct for Excess Club
In accordance with the regulations of the society, all new members shall read and accept the rules and code of conduct of the society. This includes acceptance of the aims of the society as well as the conditions of confidentiality, security and good conduct. Any breach of these rules may result in a warning or in exclusion from the society. A signed copy of these rules is to be kept by the member and one in the records of the society. Aims, rules and code of conduct: 2.2 The aim of the society is to create a warm, safe and close environment in which members can enjoy and explore SM in its diverse forms; a mature and tolerant sexual culture which expresses care, empathy and passion. Security (including safe sex, unless otherwise agreed), mutual consent, common sense and upholding the law are required. 2.3 The society requires all members to show good behaviour, tolerance and respect, not least for the ways in which others choose to practice SM, within the regulations of the society. 2.4 The address, newsletters, activities etc. of the society must be kept confidential among members. The managing group of the society may permit communication outside the society and authorise specific members to speak on behalf of the society. 2.5 Personal information about other members, including their membership, surname, telephone number, occupation etc. are all confidential and may never be passed on without the expressed consent of the member concerned. 2.6 The society is not for profit and is only open to members who practice SM. Clarification: In order to create and enjoy an erotic ambience on the club premises, we should uphold certain standards, including dress code. When others are playing show respect and always ask before trying to join in. No sexual or SM activity should take place when intoxicated The premises and equipment must be used with care and consideration. All activity and attendance on club premises takes place at your own responsability Show respect for the ways in which other members choose to express their sexuality and SM – even when it involves elements which you do not find personally exciting. Confidentiality among us is extremely important in creating a trusting environment. It is important to be aware of this, both within and outside the club (including personal information, newsletters etc.) The requirement for confidentiality does not cease when no longer a member. Criticism and debate are always welcome, but be constructive, respectful and sober. The general regulations of the society must be respected, including prompt payment of membership fees. If you have any questions you are always welcome to ask the hosts on duty or a member of the management group.
